Postpartum Care

A doula is a nonjudgemental person who can give a family physical, emotional and informational support during their transition into parenthood. 


Services include

  • Complimentary 1 hour meet and greet

  • 4 hour in home sessions up to 6 months after birth

  • Physical and emotional support

  • Baby care education and support

  • Support in feeding choices

  • Light housework

  • Preparing simple and nutritious meals

  • Overnight support

  • feeding and attachment centered infant sleep educator and consultant

  • Sibling care

  • Referrals to other professionals as needed

  • Phone and text support

  • Plus much more

 


Sessions

Upon deciding to work together we will create a care plan for you and your family. Ideally, I'd like to have at least one prenatal session to get organized for the postpartum period.

  • 4 hour minimum

  • 3 sessions recommended

    • 1 prenatal session to create postpartum plan

    • 2 sessions within the first 2 weeks of welcoming baby home

Postpartum care can starts within 24-48 hours after birth. The postpartum period, the fourth trimester, are the first 12 weeks after giving birth. Please reach out wherever you are in your postpartum journey to discuss support options. Upon meeting we will create a postpartum plan just for you.
